Recently the 5.7 version of Pronamic Pay was released. We enhanced the webhook-integration and we’re introducing a payment form block for the Gutenberg block-editor.
Payment form block
The new block-editor was introduced in WordPress core at the beginning of 2019. Most of us know it as the Gutenberg-editor. A page or post is since then built with blocks. As of Pronamic Pay 5.7 we introduced our own block to easily add payment forms! With this block it’s pretty easy to add a payment form, without the need of an additional plugin. With a few clicks you’ve added a donation form to your page.
A lot of payment providers communicate by using webhooks. We have enhanced our webhook integration. We now show when the webhook was last used and from which url this took place. After testing your payment configuration on your staging environment, you’ll get an automated message to change the webhook when you’re migrating to a live site.
Next to the payment form block and webhooks we added plenty of more enhancements. If you want to know more about these changes, please read our changelog.
Update the plugin now and use all our new functions on your website!
