Time needed: 15 minutes.

A step-by-step manual to add a payment method to Formidable Forms (Lite) with an existing payment configuration.

1. Login to your WordPress admin area

   Your WordPress dashboard is shown.

2. Create a new Formidable Forms form

   Go to ‘Formidable’ on your left side and create a new custom form. Give your newly created form a title.

3. Add fields to your form

   Add the necessary fields to your form. Also add a number field to your form, this field will be used to enter the costs for the transaction.

4. Add the ‘Payment Method’ field to your form

   After adding the field you are able to select the desired payment methods you want to offer on your website. Just simply select them or select none if you want to use all these payment methods.

5. Activate the Pronamic Pay action for your form.

   Head over to the form settings, positioned at the top of the page. Enter the ‘Actions & Notifications’ section on the left side. Activate the Pronamic Pay action by clicking on it. Within its settings select the number field for ‘Amount’ and the payment methods field for ‘Payment method’.

6. Enter a ‘Transaction Description’

   If you want you can add a transaction description, it’s possible to use Formidable Forms shortcodes within this field.

7. Delay email notifications

   Select the delay notifications option if you want to send email notifications once the payment has been received.

8. Save your form

   Save your form by clicking ‘Save’ in the right top corner.

9. Preview and test your form

   Your configuration is complete. Preview your form and test it.
