How to connect MultiSafepay with WordPress via Pronamic Pay

In this manual we’ll explain how to connect MultiSafepay with the Pronamic Pay plugin. So you can use MultiSafepay with your WordPress website.

Note: It is important you already have a contract/account with MultiSafepay before you start with your configuration.

Connect MultiSafepay with Pronamic Pay

Time needed: 10 minutes.

Step-by-step manual for how to connect MultiSafepay with the Pronamic Pay plugin.

  1. Install the Pronamic Pay plugin

    Install the Pronamic Pay plugin by following the ‘Getting started with Pronamic Pay‘ manual.
    After installing you are able to create an MultiSafepay configuration.

  2. Create your MultiSafepay configuration

    Navigate to Pay » Configurations and create a new configuration. Give your configuration a title like “MultiSafepay – [Account ID]”

  3. Select MultiSafepay as your payment provider

    Select ‘MultiSafepay from the ‘Payment provider’ dropdown list. Select ‘Test’ as Modus.

  4. Fill in your MultiSafepay credentials

    You need to fill in the following credentials: Account ID, Site ID and Site Security Code. You can find the needed information in your MultiSafepay dashboard at Settings » Websites.

  5. Publish your configuration

    After filling in the credentials you can publish your configuration.

  6. Test the configuration

    You can test the configuration by doing a test payment from the ‘Test’ metabox in the configuration. Fill in an amount (for examle €10) and click ‘Test’. You will be redirected to MultiSafepay to do a test payment.

  7. Change configuration to ‘live’ mode

    When you are done testing, you can change the mode to ‘live’ and update the ‘Test’ credentials (step 4) to the ‘Live’ credentials.

  8. Save the ‘Live’ configuration

    Save your changes and you are ready to use MultiSafepay with your WordPress website.
